I stop the gb now, I need to finish masonry for the exterior window first. Between the 2 windows there will be Siberian pine tree wood ( & insulation of course). This wood looks like bamboo.

Last day of gb. No its not finished !
But I need now to fill all existing holes in the walls with bricks first ( rear of the cr where there was the door, right wall of the cr where there will be a window, and east wall of the studio). I also need to buy ( or find ) a door for the studio.
Heu 2 doors for the studio one ( glass) that will be inside& a wood one for outside.
The idea is to leave the ext door open when there s no sound in the studio( soI can get get more sun in the cr.
And close both when there s musicians in the studio.
3 days of cement & more to fill the holes in the walls.
but question,on the east wall of the rec studio there was a big steel beam,
I need to put cement on it ? both sides ? or leave it like that ( is it enough mass ?)
don t know what to do ?
If you can get your hands on some long rubber strips cut to size, you could glue that to the metal beam to damp it.
just a few hours of work this week on the new studio cause I work on a new cartoon at the present rec studio/music voices sounds ...( supposed to be my real job ! ).
Continue preparing strange ceiling of the rec studio.
Slow slow
continue preparing ceilings of the rec stud + control room.
"Slow" is better than "nothing"! Any advance at all is much better than no advance! - Stuart -Slow slow
yes Stuart but i m sure that when you will begin, every plans,drawings...will be ready.
1pic 5 months just for me to see its slow but there s some advance !
Continue ceiling structure of the cr & studio.
My plans were really rough, so I thought about an electrical plug for a projector on the rear wall of the control room.
But i v forgot that I need some cables to get pictures (beta sp / beta num/ computer / dvd ...). So Ive recut my wall to put 2 green gaines. Hopefully I have nt begin the ceiling !
Continue ceiling s structures in the vocal studio& studio
Bonjour Garlo,
I hope to finish for autumn.
Hopefully we have the studio downtown Bordeaux to continue working on music & sound.
Today i v put refrigerated & water pipes for the 3 different air conditionners ( vocal studio / control room & studio ). I dont think i will get enough $ to begin with air conditionners but everything will be in the gb when I will afford them.
Don t know nothing about air conditionning so I took 1/4 , 3/8 regrigerated pipes that looks to fit to many mono split inverter air conditionners ( hope so ).vocal studio is about 11m3, studio 75m3 & cr 72m3
Today I begin the ceiling in the rec studio, & I already know it s going to be a tough job to put 40 cm of insulation & 2 gb for the ceiling.
Question ? I dont know if i need to put Suspente & fourrure ( dont know english words for that ceiling structure ) vertical or like the future ceiling roughly 30° ? ( see picture 1 is vertical , 2 is like the ceiling ).
I suppose its better like 2 but not sure
Just continuing rec stud ceiling
 Waouh spammers coming, too bad. Is there a solution ?

For me Today, No phone call, no work downtown at the rec studio, just gb & ceiling
Way too late now, but looks like you've again connected the outer leaf to your inner leaf?
No, the wood doesn t touch the outer wall,
there s 1cm between bricks & wood.
Will there be two panes of glass there?
yes, one glass will be on the outer leaf / bricks, the 2nd one on the wood structure inside. I ll try to send a better pic & design later.
Yes I know, a bad drawing !
A 10mm & a 15mm glass.
There will be wood between ( not touching outer wall ).
Ok, I see is that additional wood redundant then?
You should have used it as an in walls super chunk trap
yes maybe but I willhave traps in the ceiling
& I prefer to have symetrical traps on the walls.
Back on work for voxstudio ceiling & beginning control room ceiling. 40cm of glass wool & 2 gb.
I'm curious: In your first photo there, you show drywall under the joists in one place, but on top of the joists in another place: Any reason for that? Is the "on top" just sitting there temporarily, and will be moved later?
Yes in the center of the CR,gb is on top of the joists.I ll use that space for acoustic treatment ( rockwool & clothe) later.
I v made that where I can put 40cm of glass wool between ceiling & roof.
