Ready for the removal party tomorrow, + many cars, it will be ok ... I hope !
This is one of my last post,
I will send some good pictures & datas when I have time to make measurments & find a good photographer.
Removal party was fun, big work (50m3) but many friends.
We finished during the night listening to favourite cd's of friends.
Everybody was impressed with the sound imaging & depth & many understand now what I was doing intensively for 14 months.
I worked the whole week on my new office & studio unpacking stuff & trying to find a new place for everything ...
I want to thanks everybody on this site both on design & studio construction.
Some gave me some advices,
others encouragements,
some were against my ideas,
others were shouting,
some helped me when I was mystaking :
that’s a real living forum.
Sometimes it was difficult because of the english language and sometimes I was not on the same wave lenght with contributors but this forum is a real big thing.
In this mp3 world,
with the decline of cd’s & labels,
with the future uncertainty for recording studios,
where nobody can say how people will enjoy music tomorrow,
it’s good to know that everywhere in the world there’s people interessed by
sound &
recording studios &
rooms sounds &
building small or big control rooms.
Thanks to all contributors who gave time to write & share their knowledge
Thanks to Guildo Bassrocket Ro Lilith Soundman Xspace Jominer Bassman Jbassimo Russrussels for sharing with me ( & of course if you come in Bordeaux it will be a pleasure to share some music & wine with you )
and of course ...
a big big Thanks to John Sayers
Chapeau bas Monsieur.
Félicitations
you are welcome
garlo

hahaha funny guy ! good joke ! Who are you ? I didnt make my studio to be attractive to you. What you call instruments are just tools like a guitar or a mic or what ever you want. I use tools to make music that I like. On this great forum everybody that helped me are welcome if comin in bordeaux for listening to a record and/or drinkin a good glass of wine and/or talking about our passion. You are not welcome. Do what you want to do. Don t bother me. Me fais pas chier connard. It looks like a scarcity of space over there everything is not arranged sophisticatedly, all the instruments are kept side by side one over another. It doesn't looks attractive.
this post has given me so much insight i am so thankful to have been able to read and accept all the information here most of the build diaries i read never show problems that a normal person would run into since im not a master carpenter or electrician i learned a ton of what not to do's followed with great pictures and responses from the intelligent people on this forum thank you garlo and thank everyone who gave great insight on this post.
Thank you Ewan, I m very pleased that you found something here. Let us know about your project.

Hey Garlo it's great to hear from you again! And great to hear that your studio worked out so well, too.
I just watched your Ted talk, and Wow! That's a fantastic concept: let nature play the tune. Very thought-provoking, and very original. I'll be looking forward to checking out the results of your new project, as it moves ahead.
Fascinating...
