From what I've read you have to buy extra accessories for these to change the normalling... Hope I'm wrong cause the one's with push terminals are Not cheap :? What's your opinion on Neutrik vs ADC?
Hey everyone, I've uploaded the finalized sketchup files for both my Control Room & Live Room. Here are also a few pics of the Control Room for anyone that doesn't have sketchup. So these are the final designs that I have ended up with, from all the info and advice in this great forum. These are the plans that I am currently following in my construction. A few differences might be the air-conditioner locations. And also now I'm going to add ventilation as well, hence silencers in the rooms. Cheers! :D Vakis

You want to center those speakers more. What are you planning for the ceiling?
The thing is, If i centered them more, then the sweetspot would move nearer to the speakers and door. That way I can't have a desk, because there won't be any space for the door to open. The ceiling is going to be straight. I was thinking of using a cloud but then john suggested.
I'd wait to see how it sounds before trying the clouds - if you are inside out and there's 90mm insulation that should be enough.
Cheers :)
One option is to flatten the angle on the soffits a bit to accommodate. Based on your drawing, the sitting position to best view out the window is beyond the sweet spot. Another consideration is multiple angled walls instead of a single long one which may also give you the option to widen the soffits a bit so the distance from the front wall is long enough. Also, (given the large window) it might be better to turn then entire room to face the window and do 90 degree soffits. Then make the wall behind as absorptive as possible.
Glenn the construction is waaay past this stage  Click here to see my soffit construction. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11321&start=60 The soffits are almost finished and the angled walls are waiting to be placed, as soon as the insulation goes into the soffits. I don't know if anything can be done at this stage, but I'd be very interested in your opinion. Thanks, Vakis
i'd consider using multiple smaller angled walls on the sides to achieve the same RFZ effect with steeper wall angles and maybe even allow expansion of the soffits a bit.
Just letting you know that I have 7 cases of Green Glue for sale here. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15341
might want to post this last one in the building supplies and wombat sections.
