Here's with the paneling completed...
I think these pictures are actually from just before I sanded and did a final coat. They are NOT this shiny on the final coat...Plus the lighting was bright...

I am sure she was worth it.This little beauty is what has set me back a bit this past year...
Here's some control room pictures. Still under construction obviously, but I hope to work on it some this spring when it warms up a bit.
The KRK's in the pic, I don't have anymore. I had them for a few weeks, didn't dig 'em in this room, so I took them back and bought a Digi 003 Factory rig.
But, the console and tape machine in the control room, is now, officially mine!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! :yahoo:
Yes she IS!!! :yahoo: Still no official date...hopefully this summer is the plan. Looking to go to Seattle or Portland area (all my family is up there, she only has a couple family left).Aaronw wrote: This little beauty is what has set me back a bit this past year... Here's a picture of us out in Lincoln City, OR last April. I had proposed to her at Bridal Veil Falls, in the Columbia River Gorge. This is from the beach a few days later...
So, what happened with Steve (Knightfly)? I noticed his name has recently been removed from the forum.
On a side note, I'm now also officially 6 years into this studio build...

Edit: Forgot to post the pic!Seconded. He contributed some gems here. So, what happened with Steve (Knightfly)? I noticed his name has recently been removed from the forum.
yeah - that's about par for the course :) It's also 6 years of support you've offered this forum and for which I'm extremely grateful as should all the people you've helped throughout those years. Pure L - Steve Knightfly also started out with this forum back in 2003 and he eventually wore himself out and bowed out to pursue his video interests. On a side note, I'm now also officially 6 years into this studio build...
Sorry to hear that John... Steve was Cool as Jacks (as they say in Philly) LOL...
I've considered it an honor to have the privilege of doing so. Thank You. And a HUGE Thank You to all of you, who have helped me over the years as well. :mrgreen:It's also 6 years of support you've offered this forum and for which I'm extremely grateful as should all the people you've helped throughout those years.
yes Brian - I appreciate your contribution to this site - no one would deny you have an honoured place in this forum.
It takes a special soul to continue to keep posting to member's requests. Steve managed to keep it up until it became too much and became a burden on his life. What did he get back for it? only honours. No one said - hey Steve - you understand this stuff, can I pay you to assist me to get my dream studio?
may I present to all our members that this is way to to support our moderators and regular contributors,, Ro - Soundman etc- offer to pay them for their advice. You do it to me, why not my friends and supporters.
Congrats Aaron!
Thank You!
Well, the big wedding day is in less than 2 weeks! Oct. 23 is the big day! :D
Then I can refocus my efforts back on the studio again. I did some tracking back in August, but haven't had time to mix them down.
It's been a crazy couple of months for sure!
congrats! :yahoo:
why do you think you'll be back to tracking afterwards though?
Haha. Good question! Because all this wedding planning etc will be behind me and I'll be able to refocus my time, energy and Money back into the studio.
Aloha Aaron,
A belated congratulations to you and yours!
Aloha 8)
Thank You!
Happy Holidays to everyone!!!
