And the response of the entire room changes dramatically even if the mics axis is rotated left or right by 30 degrees! It combs around 4 to 16k range Is an RFZ environment being created or not?
Here some more results. Unfortunately the mdat is too huge for the upload :(

couple of thoughts - the mic looks like it's too high compared to where it would be if you were seated but that may not matter too much ultimately. drawing a line @ 50db (which also seems low) you're +/- 8db or so. the EQ - cutting should be your last resort so make it flat for now. boosting is generally not good but may be what you need. on the ceiling - it looks like some more absorption may be a good choice. did you take the slats off the side or just haven't put them on yet? if you could find a web site to host the mdat file (dropbox etc) that would be helpful.
Hi! http://myfreefilehosting.com/f/a0066ac129_2.38MB is the link to the mdat What would be a possibility of a big null @ 433Hz? What will be the best idea to to treat that? This is my new slat frame. Slats are not installed over it and measurements were taken in as is condition. Do you think is it comb filtering in the room? What should be further done? Sincerely Simran
instead of slat absorbers can i go in for porus absorbers since they are a bit broadband ? So making the absorber around 145Hz will be effective The 50Hz-100Hz region is not at all boomy. I think those can be the electrical issues need to check on that. Im planing to dig around 6 feet outside my home and make a good grounding there in Sincerely Simran
And yes how about some tubular traps ?
Panel thickness (tp) 12.0 mm Distance between slots (D) 290.0 mm Slot width (w) 50.0 mm Open Area (e) 14.71% Properties of cavity Cavity depth (d) 350.0 mm Absorber thickness (ta) 350.0 mm Air space in cavity (d - ta) 0.0 mm Absorber flow resisitivity 16,500 rayls/m Resonant frequency 145.9 Hz Should i give it a try?
i think the slats are your best bet
One more config i came up with Panel thickness (tp) 12.0 mm Distance between slots (D) 540.0 mm Slot width (w) 50.0 mm Open Area (e) 8.47% Resonant around: 97.4Hz showing an effective curve Got done with some panel asbsorbers on the front wall Irritating ring around 145 observed (Tools Pot track. First and second note of the bass/guitar resonates)

maybe go with your first design to treat the 145hz. at best your slats will be 1 octave below (75hz or so) to 1.5 octaves above (350hz or so)
By how much the response of the slat absorber will change if the glasswool behind it is not consistent and there are hollow spots inside the module ?
i recommend evening that out or putting in some lighter weight insulation to lightly fill. the cloth behind the slats will make the biggest difference though. get a nice open weave cloth.
and since i have two modules. Can i have one module(left) tuned to a lower side and the other one(right side) tuned to a higher side
you could do that or a mixture of slat/slot sizes to expand the overall range a bit on both.
Hi Glenn, Now the front wall(the center part, not the part where monitors are mounted ie left side of front wall and right side of front wall) is completely absorptive. 2inch glasswool of 64 Density. I will be treating the side ceiling more and completely filling the cavity between top of slat absorber and ceiling with glasswool This is with the slats done. When i put in my calibrated mic between the slats(in the slot but not completely inside) and feed back the system, it resonates around 50Hz with a broad q factor (no resonance when the mic is removed out of the slot Sincerely Simran

it looks like it's flattening some. hard to say without zooming in to see that actual levels. you might consider going to 4" on the front absorption.
Hi Glenn! i am making the front wall 4inch thick now. What i am doing is basically wraping 2x 2" Glasswool sheets into cloth (good enuf for the glasswool to be actively doing its work) and making framelss panels kind of a thing. My only disability is to mount them to the existing dry wall. How can i mount frameless panels onto the dry wall? Kindly help
Got a way around supporting the stuff with L bracket. No C brackets available here :( So kinda making U/C bracket out ot 2 ls :P
randomly trippy

post 4" front wall absorption. More of ceiling to be done. Whats up with the 445Hz? Simran :)

445hz - maybe something in the room?
Hi heres the current development. Unable to trace the 420Hz Null. :( Got 8" absorber on back ceiling corners The 30Hz problem which is showing up in the graph isnt being felt when music is played. Putting nitrile rubber under the mic stand to decouple it yields better results in the 30Hz region. Seems like structural thing since i dont have isolated stuff happening? Rgds Simran
