Here's one portable method I drew a while back, made a couple more comments on it -
Also, what's that closet behind the couch wall? Sure would be easy to let it do double duty as a bass trap by merely putting some 3"- 4" 703 in a 12" strip along the floor and/or ceiling, so it could vent into that area. If there's clothes in it, even better - free "bass hangers"... Steve
the closet will be used for gear, tape, paper work storage. Right now the inside is not finished. It's a 2 x 4 wall with one sheet of drywall on the CR side. All ceiling height is 9.5 ft.
Kinda sounds like a monster bass trap just waitin' to happen... Steve
So hang the 703 from the ceilings, and the bass will come through the door and layer of sheetrock? Cool!
Oh...in reference to those RT calculators. How would you enter measurements for a room with non-parallel walls. :o
front wall: 10'
side walls: 14'
rear wall: 14'
ceiling: 9.5'
12 x 14 x 9.5????? :D
Dam.........I'm slow. Just a few photos of the finished setup. Thanks Folks. Room sound great, mixes translate well.
