Absorbtion wall insulation and ceiling insulation done. Ceiling electrics done.

What next: speakers on the ceiling, couple of wood trims, air vents and ceiling is done :D
wow, great progress and cool space but Janne, why didn't you use a foil for the ceiling? The rockwool will trickle trough the fabric caused by bass from the ceiling :horse:
Yeah that's a good point, but if I'd used plastic foil before the fabric then I'll end up with two vapor barriers on my ceiling...
I though that if I use thicker molton fabric Weight: 300g per sq/mtr. that might keep most of the rockwool dust away from the air..

Liveroom construction continues...
Pics 1-4.
Back walls slot resonator construction.
I put a layer of plywood on top of the resonator to seal it's cavity properly.
Cavity is filled completely with insulation.
Black cloth in front.

Side walls slot resonator construction.
Principle is the same that back wall resonator.

Slats attached in place with finishing nails.
Pattern and color shades are same that in my control room.

Still have to make last slot resonator, mouldings, trims etc.

Thanks a lot Simo :D Mostly have time only the weekends to build my studio, but I think I'm finished when this summer ends. And that's somewhere in september in Finland :) Now I'm taking two week vacation and forget all the day job routine, resonators and tools :shot:Wow Janne, you are moving at a vertiginous speed. I've finally finished the construction :yahoo:
..well.. few small things to do here and there but 99.9% finished!

Just purchased Cubase 6 and brand new audio interface Universal Audio Apollo Duo :)
Although, not installed because of UA haven't released win 7 drivers yet... Maybe later this year.
