I'm in the process of putting together a small multi use recording space. The idea is that while recording, the recording equipment would be set up in an adjacent room, and then could be moved in for mixing.
I know its a compromise, but I'm trying to get the most use out of a limited space.
the room dimensions are 10' X 13' with a 10' cieling...
Any ideas on how to treat it?
Thanks,
Mike

small multi-use space iotions
Hey man,
I'm thinking about doing a similar thing, but I was going to have 2 workstations, with geffen extenders and whatnot.
Have you considered that option?

I'll try to get a drawing for you...
but equipment wise, I have a Digi002 rackmount with some pre's and a g4 laptop as the main equipment. I have a two space rack that will stay in the space...it has a headphone amp and a tuner in it for the musicians.
Monitoring during tracking will be on headphones in the other room, but I will be looking at adding a set of near fields when it comes time to mix.
