hello fellas this is as far asi got today, i am going to add a machine room for the hvac but i think i am happy with this layout, gives me a cr, a nice live room with stone at one end and absorbant at the other, and a booth and a lobby come programmers room. what do oyu think chaps? steve

HI Glenn sorry about them mate its just i am still just getting going with sketch up, adn i havet learnt to tidy up after myslef so i draw the diffent room units seperatly and then inport them into this new page to move them around and try them with each other , and like a dunney i import all the guide lines and stuff with it!!!! so i shold perhaps now plan the havc and the cable tunnells and then think about the walls so much to do so little time... cheers for all the help everybody, steve

hi jwl thanks dude, im quite happy with it , i have been living with it in sketch up for a week now and im cool , i need to find where to put the plant room for the HVAC, and then sort out a few bits and bobs and strat swinging hammers aorund steve
so chaps i am now chanigng the main monitors to ATC scm 50, can any body tell me is it ok to soffitt mount these speakers?, they are the active versions so i am aware i must leave some air back there. also how do i calculate the size of the soffitt width? so the speakers and soffitt face work well together steve
So chaps got ne design done, got some drawings made , and got a great quote froma very good builder and on saterday he makes his final site visit , and on monday the hammers start a swinging , i hope to keep you up to date with a stream of photos , and im hoping to have the job donee in about 4 weeks from monday, all i need to find out abnput is a nice simple way to vent and air the rooms, via say a little transfer room, is there a thread on here that a nit wit like me can follow easilly? cheers steve

Fellows its the 8th of jan the first delivery of timber and plasterboard is due at 2 pm, along wit screws nails green glue silicone, and tea bags!!! the team of 4 builders are booked for 8 am tommrow morning, and as i type my heart is in my throuat, we are about to commence building. PLease would the oderater now move this thread to the studios in construction forum, its time to get busy. thanks steve

very nice. you might want to resize all images to 700px... i'd also say, start a thread in the construction forum so everyone can oogle it...

Paint will do that - once you've got the pictures off your phone just open them up in Paint and use "Image > Sketch/Skew" then just save that image. Nice studio! :shock: Gareth
