Hey.
I'm looking to design a build for a studio within a plot of land I obtain. The size of the building itself can be maximum 30' x 24'. I've read many books including Rodneys 'Build It Like The Pros' however I am stuck for ideas of a basic layout.
I ideally need a good sized control room, which would have myself and possibly 3 other people in at once, but no more. A live room as well as a seperate vocal booth. Also a small storage space and a small chillout area.
I would like to have a wide entrance to the live room so maybe a double doorway or a sliding door.
There is no budget at this stage as I simply need a layout and not details of construction.
Is there any help any one could give me to start a basic design then to work on?.

After searching the forum a bit more I came across a design by kendale which I rather liked.

It fits within the deminsions perfectly, however for is there any way I could modify this to make use of the space which was needed in that specific design for a car?
if the live room was expanded to include the car space, and the CR was flipped so the large window/door was looking into a larger live room, it would work.
what's the maximum height can you build to? ideally if you can get 3m ceilings that would be really nice. You might want to check out John's Oasis design since I think its roughly the same dimensions as well.
