Hi all,
Need some help with monitor windows and exterior windows. My studio is near a road so much noise comes from outside. i have managed to block off one of the two windows with concrete and am gonna acoustically treat it.
For the other window (5 ft X 3 ft), i need to know what thickness of glass i should use, how much space between the two panes, what degree should the interior pane be at? Also, I am building a small monitor window between the control room and the recording room. What are the ideal dimensions and similar to the picture window what thickness of glass should i use and what kind of insulating material etc.
I would look to having it professionally done 'cept i am in Pakistan, where knowledge of soundproofing is scarce and dubious.
Pls advise.
Thank you kindly

howdy,
You need to make an effort and read the construction post or SAE website.
Good luck
