For the hanging system, some hinges and brackets were adapted. I haven't found soft rubber for dampening in the local stores, so this is my improvisation. Leftover carpet pieces, small nails and a tape. It holds tight and well without the resonating noises.

Here's how the frames are filled. I decided not to use PVC foil for the back sides, instead I found reasonably priced narrow dense cloth (80 cm width) and my wife helped me sew it. Also no rope, the screws hold better than the flabby net.

My friend helped me to cover the absorbers with his compressor gun (this machine is fast as hell) and experience. We were done with 7 frames in three hours. The front linen cover was doubled to hold particles better. All edges will be covered with the thin slats later.

Huh .... The cloud is on the way ..... Regards
Just curious, after all that stain and work, you're leaving the edges like that - with the fabric hanging over?

No, of course not. I'll put wooden slats on the perimeter to cover the fabric. I'm working on it.

I think what Brad meant is that you are covering all the nice stain work, and not leaving it exposed... right Brad? I wondered the same thing! You did such a great job on the staining, and then it looks like you are covering it all up.
The 2'' wide slats will cover only the edges, so 5'' of stained batten will still be visible. The excess of the cloth will be cut off. I hope this clears up my point

Hello folks, At last a piece of free time for update. Previously, the room looks like this (stitched photo)

The stained wooden slats were added on the edges, as I planned.

Two steel ropes stretched between the brackets, 4'' under the ceiling.

The attaching test. The same clamps were used on the ropes, only without the plates here.

Two more wall/ceiling corner absorbers.

The hangers.

The cloud. Although it's not made of the wool, according to my plan (sketch), the 3'' foam seems to work just fine here. But most of all, I was extremely impatient

The final look. :yahoo:

Love it Dude! But, as a keen photographer, are we nerds getting a slightly false impression re the gorgeous curves due to a 15mm wide angle/fish eye lens? Or have you just fitted out an igloo?   Either way - Great workmanship, awesome ingenuity, and, as I said - Love it! Kind regards, Lou. 8)
