Ahh, Im getting so angry :x . I was going to originally going to build a booth in the bathroom but it has plumbing and its way to small. Now I just want to build a booth within my room  .I'm going to be using it to record vocals. I will be the only person using it so it can be as small as possible.(Im only about 5'4'' in height) The only noises im trying to keep out are my computer, neighbors dog and overhead airplanes which emit very faint noise. Can someone please please help me(total newb). The reason this post sounds so urgent is because I have to get all the materials by tommorrow because my dad works 2 jobs during the week and I only see him about a hour a day which isn't enough time to shop. I don't want ventilation(way too expensive for me). I also don't want a window because I fear it would be too expensive. Im going to need a light though. Also, how would i get my mic cable through the booth? I don't know if this make a difference but my room is carpeted. Please make this as cheap and easy to build as possible as I'm going to be doing most of it since hes gone most of the time. If you want me to make a diagram, if thats neccessary. I don't know how to make one. Do i need a program? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Aloha, In light of the lower isolation requirements this time around, would building a set of gobos work for you? Aloha 8)

also, it kind of sucks. I've been looking on this site and at peoples diaries of the studios they built but I haven't found one person that just built a personal booth unless I didn't look good enough. If you have a link to someone who did, please link me becuase the pictures really help me think this out.

thanks for the fast response again man! I don't mean to sound rude but that just doesnt seem as cool as a booth if you know what i mean. Maybe if you explain what these are also and how they work. This is the first time i ever seen these. But also, maybe throw me some help on building a booth.

True, but they're more affordable and they work reasonably well for what they're designed for.

"Gobos" or "go betweens" are used to "go between" and separate microphones, instruments, persons, and various noises from other various noises (as in: microphones from noisy computers in one room studios.) They usually have at least one absorptive surface and are somewhat portable to be positioned where some level of separation is needed.
But also, maybe throw me some help on building a booth.
