hey folks. I've been on http://www.gearslutz.com too much :D But i always post link this forum. I'm relocating from New Orleans to Dallas. I was one of the lucky ones. My gear was all untouched by Hurricane Katrina. The old design that you helped me with is here:

i'm having trouble figuring how to design this space below. need a control of course, one recording booth big enough to do drums and vocals. I like a roomy space vs several small spaces. and maybe a small foyer near the front door. What do you think?
thanks:

Glad you survived, as well as your gear; are any of those walls NON-load bearing? Got a sledge hammer? Steve
Update:
couldn't get the other location. so I get this one. Darn income tax preparers booking up everything.
10ft ceilings.
to the north wall is about 2acres of forest
south wall is another office
east wall is an office
west...office is about 20 ft away in another building.
I plan to use the top 2 rooms as the studio/control rm. with the control room on the right. we are checking to see if the dividing wall is supporting anything. I would like to tour it out.
any thoughts? thanks
