LCD Monitor Position

I created a separate topic for this question because it is so different from the other one. I'm going to be building a mixing desk for my control room (see here) and I'd like to have my LCD monitors sit just above it. They are 18" flat panels. The mixer is a 24x8x4 which is about 4' wide. There is a separate metering bridge that runs the length of the unit and is about 5" high. I'd like to have my monitors above that. They don't have to stand up like they would on a desktop but I'm worried about glare and viewing angle problems if I tip them too far back. If they stand up, they are going to be in the way of the monitor path to my ears. I have two of them now but I'd like to eventually have 3 spaced along the top/back of the mixing desk. Am I asking too much? I kind of need to know before I start the desk because I don't want a giant hole there if it's not going to work (i.e., they fit pretty but I can't read the screens because of the viewing angle. Thanks in advance, len
Why don't you buy some flat panel mounting arms then you can adjust the screens to where ever you want them at any time?

This would work but it's really not the problem I was worrying about. I just don't know if it's practical to even mount them on/in the desk and still be able to see them without glare but not intefer with or cause reflections from the speakers. len
