I need to know the suggested height for my bass hanger kickout on my (in progress) studio build (see Len's Studio Build Diary). Do the hangers need to hang the full 8' or can they be shorter to leave a little room for an equipment cabinet behind the curtain in front of the hangers?
I don't really NEED the space there if performance will suffer. Is this something I should wait on until I've got the room more or less done and can take some ETF measurements? The space I've got there is about 4' x 3' x 8'. My primary goal is performance and I can always put a cabinet outside the control room.
