oZ, I'm not shure about the genious, but thanx anyway :-) I'd also consider to maximize the size of the CR and use the front left and right corners of the room as bass traps. you'll loose some symmetry in the rear left, but this doesn't matter I think. i did a quick draw over your design, see below. not shure about the scale, but for a quick idea it should be fine... I'm not that experienced with CR design, so maybe John should jump in at this point and tell us his opinion... greez Roman

Yeah, I'm sure that chunk where the stairwell droops down can be deadened with absorbers so as to mitigate its affect on acoustics. That would be easier than the whole "soffit/cabinet" thingy... :roll: --Keith :mrgreen:
