Soundproofing a Drum Room (15 x 11) Help?

Aaronious: you do actually "hear" it through your but. In one of my bands we use an in-ear monitoring system. The PA-guys gave me a kind of buttkick (another brand) once and I loved it... A lot of low freq tones you have to feel to be able to 'hear' them... I don't think a little kick on a monitor in a practice situation is over kill (or I'm killing something over at home as well...) :wink: Good luck with the project... I also am waiting to move in my new (to be soundproofed) house. I try to use all that time to READ and LEARN about this science. If you are weapened with knowledge, you'll be able to find out yourself what you can do within a given budget. Cheers! Rob
