Spot on!
I'm currently between stages 17 and 18 :P
Well at least I'm over half-way I guess. No wait, that's what I said on Saturday whilst lugging my 11th sheet of MDF down to my garage, my arms STILL ache
hahah, exactly.
Excellent!
No crap;
Andre
I'm on stage 26. :D :D
Bouncing between 24 & 26 myself. :D
Except, now you need to add all the language adjectives in between each of those steps. And the blood, the sweat, the tears, etc, etc...
And 2 years later...still constructing...
Aaron, I totally had you in mind when I wrote #24! :lol:Bouncing between 24 & 26 myself. :D
X.5 Holy Crap, 2 months have gone buy and im still on X
x.75 Holy Crap, I pulled the last of my hair out.
X.95 Im goona find me a website that has easy ideas. Dont even care if they are bullshit.
X.99 Much like an abusive relationship, Im back, cause I know "he loves me"
I'm now on stage #26.5
A small step closer I guess :)
how about, holy crap, my wife isn't a fan of my music :P
but i guess that shouldn't be a surprise ...
My wife either loves my music or is one hell of an actress - last nite she made me promise to run a board feed into the living room stereo so she could listen even after I'm in the (eventually to be broken ground, separate concrete bunker, WITH full floated floors BTW) new studio.
('course, I did recently buy her a really cool Tanzanite ring recently, so maybe it is an act - awww, who cares? )
Main thing I'm looking forward to (besides the space) is recording stuff WITHOUT lawnmowers, tractors, 9-second street machines, machine guns (couple of SWAT team members live just over one hill) and howlin' dawgs ALL wanting their "royalties"...
Ahhhh, the peace and quiet of country livin'... ;). . . lawnmowers, tractors, 9-second street machines, machine guns (couple of SWAT team members live just over one hill) and howlin' dawgs . . .
Yeah, but at least our version of a "drive-by" is somebody checkin' out your yard to see if ya got any old farm equipment fer sale... 8)
Touché!
Sh..! My girlfriend almost left me because I'm reading on the net day and night.
If my wife asks if I follow the web much tell her no. She thinks I am having an affair. :DSh..! My girlfriend almost left me because I'm reading on the net day and night.
Woo-hoo!! :D It only took me six months to advance from Stage 21 to Stage 23!
One of these days I'll have to come out with Stages of Soundproofing Enlightenment v2.0 to include the dreaded "to-pull-permits-or-not-to-pull-permits" issue and other noted items! :roll:21. I'm afraid to start my work -- I'm afraid I'll make a mistake! 22. OK, I'm starting now, but everyone watch every step and stop me if I do something stupid! 23. Hey, look at how nicely this is coming along! :D
Mr. Tea inspired me to bump this oldie but goodie. :-)
--Keith
hahaha and I'm reading it right now! It's almost poetic...
What about Holy Crap... How am I going to friggin pay for all this???
or
Holy Crap... 5 weeks to get a building permit???
Holy Crap... the framers bugged out after 3 days and won't be back for 6 weeks... maybe.
Holy Crap... 3 Choices
1) Food Water Shelter
2) Gas for the car
3) Nails and anchors for the studio build
Huh, wonder which one will take priority?
