I'm a little late starting up my construction thread, but here we go. I am using the Barefoot Bezel speaker mounting method described at the link below because it allows changing speakers by rebuilding the front bezel only, rather than the entire wall: http://www.johnlsayers.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=718&hilit=soffit+design&start=0 I have the speaker soffits with the bezels up and the interior lined and partially stuffed with Roxul. I still have a lot of construction to go, but it's in progress. Thanks to all who have unknowingly helped me with this with their myriads of posts, and a special shout out to Stuart for his guidance in the design. Speakers on stands with no soffits. The drywall and floor is already in.
