Cloth help in Australia..

Hey all.. Looking for some acoustically transparent cloth for my walls, and thinking coloured Hessian as a cost effective solution. ($10-$12mtr is my budget). Any thoughts on anything else I should look at in my price range? I'm based in Melbourne and will likely buy from Spotlight or similar store. Best Travller. EDIT - Is Calico also suitable?

The Hessian should be fine - just make sure you treat it with a fire retardant.
