Greetings, I am currently in planning process of building a private production recording studio in the Northern California. I am seeking the advice and design assistance of a professional recording studio designer. If you know of a designer who has experience and would be willing to help with our studio design, I would greatly appreciate a link or any information to get us in the right direction. We currently have a space in question, whether or not the space is a good space which will provide us with good, pro sounding recordings. Please send me a private message with details and I will give you my contact information. I HAVE already posted a topic regarding the space I have to work with, but I am not getting the responses I had hoped for. Either people see no value in the space and/or layout and see a studio or I am not doing something right to get helpful responses. WE NEED TO GET THIS STUDIO ROLLING ASAP! although we need it to be of quality design and build we have had too much down production time and are missing crucial opportunities since I had to move the studio from last location. Here is the link for the last topic I posted. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15723

That is most likely because you are not following the forum rules... There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible. The announcement leads to this post (click here). Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will most likely not reply if you don't do what is written in that post. Many others who are very helpful, will most likely not reply out of respect for the moderators' wishes. But if you prefer to pay someone to do the design for you, then you should contact John directly, either via e-mail or PM. - Stuart -
I spent hours on making sure that my post was thorough. That is a lot of time and I made sure to include as much information as possible, and my wife even almost killed me for the amount of time I have spent on the post. I am confused as to what I am not doing right. I just posted more information on SPL readings which was the only last thing that was required. Seems like I should of had much more responses EVEN with the information I posted. I am willing to add any information. I just don't know what I am missing?????
You just did it: you added your location to your profile! :) - Stuart -
"and would be willing to help with our studio design, I would greatly appreciate a link or any information to get us in the right direction." You are at the link...as to your "ASAP" that rules you out as to be believable since you would not treat building your home in such a hurried fashion and this is going to take longer than that. That said, you give a budget, and we can come up with something :) Maybe we can come over to your place for a consult?
