if your speaker manufacturer has information on the "acoustic center" of the monitor - you want that aimed roughly at your ear level when seated at your desk. if raised above that, keep the down angle to 10° or less if possible. if there is no information on the acoustic center, then a general rule is to pick the spot between the LF (or nearest MF) driver and the HF driver.
