ok well its been waaaay too long since i used sketchup at all so bear with me.
here is the sketchup i tried to do earlier, the walls are correct. I used the small studio in 3d framing as a starting point to see what would fit in there.
If anyone has a suggestion on where to go from there it would be appreciated, i am going to spend some more time messing with sketchup ad see where i get to.
thanks

here is the footing and the pad ready, i put some aggregate down and then used a whacker plate to compact it, then a layer of binding sand over the top as well and compacted that then the dpm. I used 65/75 hollow steel fabric risers to keep the fabric in a mid way position in the concrete. The shuttering is dead level, it took the best part of an hour or so getting that right ready for tamping the concrete when it was poured.

Here is the pad freshly poured and leveled, we used an onsite concrete company that has special lorries that have sectional bins that mix the conrete in real time and then pour, this way you only pay for whats poured and you done have to pay for any leftover removal or disposal. The cast was cheap and they had to travel from 50 miles to deliver and pour.

Here is the shell now up this took two days over the period of a week time allowing. Its four inch dense concrete block, with a 4 ft door for my programming room. The side room is for storage. Its small but its enough for what i need now. The big desk has gone and i have moved to smaller control surfaces for my DAW now so the large room is no longer needed.

I am hoping to get the wall plates and the roof up by the weekend weather allowing.
I still intend to coat the outside with the industrial weatherproof coating, the lower lip of the doors need a brick lip put in to prevent water access which is being done tomorrow.
There will be dual door access which i am working on at the moment with an steel outer door for security.
A firend has a copious amount of insulation and required rockwool for me as he works for a company that deals with soundproofing large industrial buildings. I am hoping to have things dome within the next 2/3 weeks and my equipment in. Luckily i have a lot of friends who are trades who owe me a few favours which i have now called in so things are all in line to progress. Its a case of working out an optimal layout for the framing now. Looking forward to getting this done now!.all the wood arrived for the roof, so that is being done. I have worked out the framing needed and power routing. This weekend hopefully the roof will be finished and the inner framing will also be done weather allowing. The electrical installer will run a new armoured cable from the main feed into the new unit and into a new breaker box, ready for first fix. busy week this week, lots to do. I dont know if now this is actually not a design and is being worked on if a section of the thread should be moved to construction section?
just a thought.
