Hopefully not "everything", Roberto! I think if you just remove some of the drywall then you should be able to fix the framing fairly easily, without taking it ALL apart. That will also give you access to the ceiling, where it attaches to the outer leaf. You should be able to work on that issue without taking it all apart, too. And if you take off the drywall carefully, you might even be able to re-use most of it, or at least some of it. In any event, please do keep posting photos and asking questions: Folks here will be glad to offer advice: I think that some people who post here have already been in your situation, and done what you are about to do (tear something apart to fix a problem), so they'll probably be even MORE inclined to help, since they understand how it feels, and can sympathize with you. Above all, don't be discouraged! Your room can be fixed, and made to isoalte well. And folks here are good at helping you do that! - Stuart -I will have to tear everything apart... Hi Stuart,
Yes this coming week we will remove the Ceiling and we will try to rework a way to decouple it and make it work as it should... As you said I think my walls can be saved and decouple easily but the ceiling will be the thing that will have to be re-done... I will keep on posting and will ask in the Forum before I continue Further I think I might be able to save it if not I will have to restart the hole thing over again.
Thanks for the help!
Roberto
