Where I live in Colorado having that plastic exposed wouldn't pass code. I built an addition with an unfinished room that was insulated/not drywalled and the inspector wouldn't let me have the vapor barrier exposed as it was a fire hazard. I had to turn the paper faced insulation around also, so the paper wasn't exposed either. Some inspectors have complexes and "have to be the only one that's correct". So who knows. Just curious John, how that passed inspection?
