So its bin a while, the hollidays and all. But w've bin building so I've got some new pics. Next week we will be building full time so expext more regular updates and progress soon. We're half way constructing the frame work of the inner walls. As you can see we decidede to use wood insted of metal stud. This because wood is less like lee to resonate.

Here is another update. A lot is bin getting done lately, but there is still a lot to do  We did some plumbing for the toilet, kitchen en airco's. It involved a lot of digging in the dirt  Also al the frame work is done including the frame work on the outer walls for the plasterboard. And now we are busy filling the walls with heracliet ( don't know the english term :D ). This involves a lot of dust en sawwing. Also most of the electric is bin taken care of. Thats it for now but we will keep you people up to date on the built :yahoo:

Kerel, als hij af is kom ik zeker een keer langs, als dat mag! Zag deze ook al op het Andy Sneap forum staan. Hoe staan de zaken ervoor? Vordert de bouw een beetje? ****** even verder in Engels, wel zo sociaal ******* Did you design the studio spaces yourself? Or did you hire an outside man?
so here is another update. a lot has bin going on. we finished the heracliet (still don't know the english therm) and we now moved on to plasterboard. things are going wel. we also started to make some silincers to go in the wall of the live room for ventilation. we did the design our selfs, a lot of researce and some good advice from a few poeple who know their business!!

Great work! Instead of the "isofix" (the agglomerated foam in the silencers) I'd use ordinary wool next time. Much, much cheaper and will do the work. Heracliet, it's Brazilian fiberpanel wood IIRC
thanks for the tip en the translation haha its left over isofix so it did't cost a bit
Wont rockwool leave particles to the air duct getting later into the room?

Ah, good thinking. :)
I know its not dangerous. but it itches like hell

Yes, You, must protect your wool with some kind of flees or cloth There are special mineral wool boards with some kind of fleece or fabric to protect it against this breaking of fibers. This is standard used in ventilation channels or silencers.
time fot a litlle update. al the plasterboard is almost in and also the kitchen is getting shape. we also placed one of the two silincers. :cen:

Just read your studio is in Oenkerk!! Wow man, that's where my grandparents live!!!! Haha.. I'm visiting them somewhere in the next couple of weeks! Mind if I drop by then, if you're there offcourse!
Time for another update. The plasterboard is done and all the walls have bin treated with stucco/plaster to smooth them out. The tiles in the kitchen are done, and the toilet is nearly done. We also costructed a closet next to the kitchen for extra storage. Next up are the speaker walls in the controle room and after that the wallpaper can go on the walls. But first tings first, here are the pictures
