RC Instalation.

Hi everybody, I've started installing RC1 and have an issue. Some of the walls end with no stud to attach to. The studs are 16" OC so i have a screw every 16" and then the last stud is missing, so to speak, so if i cut the RC to size of the wall i get 16" of RC suspended in air with out support. What to do? Put a new stud in the wall where you need it.
