Is there a chart w/ rockwool STC?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Is there a chart w/ rockwool STC?

Post by jeronimo »

I mean, is there a chart a formula, whatever, that helps me decide what kind of rockwool should I use btw my walls on my studio?
They have different density, in form of board... I don't even know how thick should it be...
Any help?

3" AFB with a density of 2.5pcf is what you should go for.

Geronimo, if you're used to the metric system that's the same as 40-45 kG per cubic meter... Steve
