Laminate floor & static electricity ??

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Laminate floor & static electricity ??

Post by sarza73 »

I´m putting a new floor in my studio and was thinking of laminate. Today I spoke with a guy who mentioned that laminate floors will give you problems with static electricity. This is why he really recommended a wood floor. The good thing with laminate (compared to parquet) is that it´s cheap but still looks good.

Has anyone heard of this before ???
