Just wondering if anyone has or used the DIY bags from ReadyTraps.
Seems like a good idea and quite cost effective.Any comments
are appreciated.
Peace,
Kevin

Kevin,
I got samples, and those bags look really nice and are of very good quality.
But the colors must suit you. I mean if you're using fabric already for whatever other purpose.
I let some bags make here by a seemster. Was a lot of trying, bying fabric, and at the end costed the same or a bit more.
If you do it yourself of course you only pay the material.

To be honest: No
I have a series of bags in lots of colors, and I checked them, including how the seems were and the zippers (works with zippers).
It's so nicely made that you almost must search for the zippers. Hence you can wash them.
If I blow through them, that's perfectly OK and this fabric has some luxuary shade on it (feels very soft but rather strong and tight weave). I don't know about fire properties (maybe David can tell),
Hence I can't see what could be wrong with them.
Since they're that cheap, Scott at Studiotips tried them out and give a simple review, also making pictures, and was very positive.
It must be cheap to ship, since it are small packages.
The ones I custom ordered here (seemster) weren't better and as expensive (or cheap, whatever). And the first ones made is try and error (altering access a bit, too tight, too loose, too .....).
Best regards - Eric Desart
