Where to get Semi rigid insulation
Let's start a list of outlets. Here's one I found at HR that will help those in the NY area.

It's made from compressed fibreglass James hence the semi rigid. It will stand up vertically on it's own.
What makes it superior to other products is the absorption in the low end relative to it's thickness.
Yes - the polyester blanket is OK but the 75mm is almost = to the 50mm Insulco. I assume you are refering to the grey Dacron blanket??
cheers

John,
Thanks for the welcome
.
There is some CSR literature here somewhere so I'll try and find a website link, etc. I have/had 3 2400x1200x50 sheets of Acoustitel(sp) here which is gradually getting used.
I had surgery for a hernia on Monday afternoon
, so give me a couple of days to find that CSR link.

John,
This is the link to CSR/Bradford. There appears to be quite a lot of info in their "Design Guide" section, as well as product info. I couldn't specifically see Acoustitel there, but that is what the Newcastle distributors told me it was called.

Music creates a kind of pleasure that human nature cannot do without.
This link is from the [acoustics] newsgroup on Yahoo. I already posted it on HR.com, but I guess it can't hurt to post it here.
According to the guy that posted the link this supplier will ship to anyone on the internet.
http://www.reilly-benton.com
(-> Catalog -> Thermal/Acoustic Hullboards -> Pelican Hull Insulation)
I haven't bought (yet) so I wouldn't know a price on it.

I've always purchased my semi-rigid fiberglass from these folks. Great service and fair prices. I thought I'd list it for anyone who is in Southern California and is looking for a source for fiberglass.
BTW John, nice websites.
