Hello and thank you for this great site
John, i was wondering if your concept of acoustic treatment rely on the fact that the main monitoring speakers are flush mounted
Or is it independant ?
I mean, would a studio designed by you be different for a smaller and of course nearer from the console 5.1 monitoring system ?
Thank you for all the valuable informations

Hi Philippe - sure, the soffit mount speakers are part of the design but the general room design is an important factor. The design takes the reverb time of the room down evenly so room colouration becomes a less contributing factor. This would apply to soffit mount or free standing speakers as in your 5:1 example.

What is your point, " waleed111"? Why are you repeating the exact same question the original poster asked TEN YEARS AGO, and that John already answered? Copy paste? Really? Spam much?
