These are the monitors for my home studio. I'm building from scratch and new monitors aren't in the budget as of yet, but these are working fine for my purposes for now.
My only complaint is that they have a built in EQ section. I wish that they didn't, but they were all I could afford at the time so I've had to deal with it. The bass and treble knobs are "guitar amp" style, so I've just been positioning them both at "5" in hopes that they would give me a more flat response. Has this worked for anyone else? Other than doing that, the only thing I can think to do is just plug my headphones into the back of my computer and double check the mixes that way. Does anyone have any suggestions of how I could make sure I get the flatest response from these cheap monitors that I can?
