Small Studio design

Post by murphy077 »

Hi, I'm david from Spain.

I want to contruction a small studio. And I like to know some others distribution ideas. :)
I think that's aren't more posibilities, for to have 1 vocal both, 1 studio room, 1 control room.

Other question is to put trap abosorbers in each corner of the rooms or make a room shaping??

Thank's a lot.

Ooo David - such a narrow room, 2.3m (7'6").

I'd tend to turn the control room around so it runs the length of the room , not the width so it goes, Control room - Vocal Booth - Studio. i.e you walk through the booth to get to the studio. But still the 2.3m is a definite limitation.

Hi, John!

Thanks a lot for your quick answer!!

We try to change the control room and the studio.

But we can runs the length of the control rooms, because there are the door. And we can't put a good speakers position. We will have a acustical problems with this control room position??

So, with this dimensions it's to necessary make shaping room?

thanks for your attention.

So at the moment you have a long room with no inner wall?? and the walls in your plan are your addition??

It would be nice to use these new walls to angle the rooms a bit instead of dealing with square rooms - like this.
