Organic Isolation?

Find out where to get building materials in your local area. If you find a good outlet post it and others will be able to access it through the search engine.

Organic Isolation?

Post by Solo »

Hi!
A couple of friends and I have gone together renting a 13m2 room which we will use for making electronic music and recording vocals.

Now the walls, the floor and the roof is all conrecte, so I guess I need to absorb/isolate big time. I need absorption material for the room so I can make, mix and master music and also to build a little mic room for a solo vocalist.

The question is, how and where can I find 100% ORGANIC absorption?

Thank you very much indeed,
Solo

Hola,

Dont know why organic is a concern other than being hypoallergenic or something, however I ran across this http://www.soundprooffoam.com/ultra-tou ... ation.html

85% recycled stuff and w/e, you can read up on that page and see if will work for you.

If that wont do it i dont know what will besides air

Rockwool is fairly organic.

It is made out of Lava ROck and Spun Steel.

I have yet to find rocks or steel to cause cancer.

Not to mention is it fire resistant to about 2000 F
