Help with ceiling options

Hi,
I am left with a ? about how to hang the drywall on my basement studio ceiling.

Should I use rubber foam attached to the ceiling joist's then drywall?
or
Should I use metal strapping like resilient bar then drywall.

yes resilient channel is the way to go. It isolates the drywall from the joists.
