Loft studio - anyone done one?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Hi. Has anyone on here done a loft studio which worked? If so, what did you do?

There's been a few attempts, and if I recall correctly, there's a couple in progress, but not sure if there are any complete. Try using the search feature.

Also, if you start a thread about what YOU plan to build, with details of what you have and your initial plans, then you'll probably get more help than from just posting an open-ended general question.

I did. No one answered. What I want to know is if anyone has had a successful outcome and if so, what floor did they use?
