We just bought a Condo/townhouse that has a garage 11'-7" x18'-10" . I am not allowed to change the outside of the building so I have to keep the garage door connected in some way for visual purposes. This would be a one room mixing/tracking.
Any ideas on what to do with the garage door? Is it possible to seal it in somehow?
Garage build options?

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things!

The normal way of dealing with that is to fix it permanently in place, very solidly, remove the mechanism, then build an isolation wall immediately behind it, to complete the outer-leaf of your studio. Then you build the independent inner-leaf (which is the actual studio) in the normal manner, as a completely separate structure with no mechanical connections to the outer-leaf, with both leaves being sealed 100% airtight.Any ideas on what to do with the garage door?
