STUDIO FOR SALE

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

STUDIO FOR SALE

Post by studio911 »

Hello John,

I don't know if you remember me, but several years back you assisted me in building Studio 911 in Carlisle, PA. You gave awesome advise and things turned out great. http://www.recordingstudio911.com We did some great recordings, and had some great times. Anyway, things have changed, and my wife is battling cancer, so I must sell the studio. I did not know if you allowed such postings in your group? If so I would like to list items and property for sale (would love to sell the whole studio as a package,,,and would sell it VERY cheap). I will be blowing out the gear (a bunch of pro level stuff) cheap as I just want to liquidate everything.

Please let me know if this would be allowed, and maybe it can help fill a new studios equipment needs on here.

Much appreciated either way.

Thank You

AJ

Hi there AJ, and welcome back! I remember seeing your thread, many years ago. Sorry to hear that you now intend to sell it. You put a lot of hard work into that place!

Unfortunately, John only allows advertising of studios for sale on the forum if he himself designed the studio completely. We try to be very careful about not allowing people to offer things for sale on the forum, as John does not want to be perceived as endorsing any company, product, style, or anything else, unless he was personally involved in making it.

So it isn't possible to put up a full "studio for sale" ad here on the forum for your place.

However, you are welcome to leave in place what you already posted, above: there's no need to delete your post! Any forum members that see it will still be able to contact you privately, if they are interested in your studio or it's contents.

Sorry it can't be a full-blown ad here on the forum, but I'm sure you can understand why John has set the rules that way.
