Hello,
I have built a lot of acoustic panels 30+, and now I need to store them while I move.
I am putting them in a climate controlled storage facility but want to know how I should store them?
Should I wrap them in plastic wrap? I have read that condensation can occur and get trapped in them.
Is this something I should worry about? Or will having climate control not allow that to happen?
Or I could wrap them in paper?
Has anybody here stored their panels for a while? What did you do? How did you protect them?
Thanks

Re: How To Store Acoustic Panels
There is an announcement at the top of the forum about what to do to assure getting as many responses as possible.
The announcement leads to this post (click here). Actually, several people, who are experts on this forum, will most likely not reply if you don't do what is written in that post. Many others who are very helpful, will most likely not reply out of respect for the moderators' wishes.
If the facility is climate controlled, I would just drape plastic over them, but leave a gap at the bottom so air can circulate a bit. There's no reason to be concerned about condensation if the humidity is kept low and under control. However if the humidity is high, then I would wrap them in plastic and put the correct amount of some type of desiccant inside (such as silica gel, for example) to ensure that any entrapped moisture is adsorbed.
