First of all Hello to all.
I am looking to build a small mixing room within my garage. I have decided due to limitations that I have that I am going to buy a 3mtr x 2.5 mtr shed. I understand that it is best to put my speakers and mix area at one end of the room on the short measurement. I have had a look at the bedroom design and this looks similar to what I am trying to achieve. My question is this. Will this work with a shed? Will I be able to achieve the sort of correction that seems to be required? I must be honest. My set up is more budget than pro but as I understand it if I am to be able to start to achieve some results then getting things right at the build stage is important. I have joinery skills so building something should be achievable.
I track drums at a studio in Nottingham where I live. I would like to be able to put a mic up for vocals and acoustic guitar. I will record electric guitar, bass through line 6 products.
Any help to get me started would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Mark
