Hi, first poster here and this is an awesome forum.
Thank you for such a nice resource!
I need some new main speakers as I move into a new space.
And I want to soffit mount them.
The thing is that main full range speakers are WAY out of my budget..
So I am wondering if it is possible to make a good (partly)diy solution.
Like transforming some cheaper hi fi or pa monitors into flat response studio monitors?
What would I have to do?
Or is it better to just build them from the ground if I`m going this route?
I can`t find to information on this and hope someone can help me.
Or have a better suggestion.
Peace
Johnny

I understand that these forums are not highly active(based on views).
Anyway.
I am new at the concept of building a speaker and understand that my question was not specific enough.
Sorry for that..
More research will be done before asking more questions!
