Quiet Glue/Quiet Solution Anyone familiar with this stuff?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Found this site the other day http://www.quietsolution.com/constructi ... sives.html. It looks like it might a useful product, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with it or can comment on it. The company make some other soundproofing/deadening stuff as well and sells direct to consumer. Unfortunately kind of pricey :x I think.

If you study their products, they are just denser versions of the regular stuff.

So a can of drywall adhesive or such from a Home Depot will help you accomplisht the same thing at a lower cost.
