Looks great! But I'm curious about those rectangular framed "things" in the slot wall in the live room: Are those absorbers of some kind? Perhaps because the room would have been too live with just the slot walls? Or are they tuned traps of some kind?

Or are they some of your famed "John Proprietary Acoustic Thingies" that you don't really want to talk about?

Stu. I can guess the ceiling is absorptive and the red walls in the live room are cloth walls, so there is plenty of absorption going on there

im absolutely in love with everything about this studio, but dare I ask, as far as construction and finishes and the whole look (excluding gear).... how much would a studio like this cost to construct and build?
