costs?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Do you have any rough cost per square foot in us$ for the creation of a "space within a space"?
this as I cannot possibly figure out how much it would be if I don't do all the work myself :oops:

The formula reads....3x as much as you have...per sq. ft :D

Michael is DIY'ing most of his studio with a few exceptions - if you want a turnkey version in Calif, I'd estimate somewhere between $125 and $200 per square foot. I made some comments in that thread as to why. (custom Bubinga wood paneling not included :? )
