Sorry to bother you again(John?)

Mr.John Sayers wrote and said it was a god idea to move my desk from the original position, facing the corner.( see on the picture below!)

So now my desk is facing the corners, But...

The problem now is that I dont know WHAT KIND of Bass traps I should use in the corner(s)
I have some pipes behind there(Dont worry, the guitars will be removed, And it IS a mess.he, he..).

Can I just put some foam on a peg board from one wall to the other so that I "Eliminate" the corners and get a straight angle, cos´I dont want the corners like they are now, right?

Or should I just use some 703 and stuff it back there?
And should it just be in the same height as the speakers, or cover from top to bottom?

I know there is alot of info on this site, but I dont see anyone having the same set up against corners like I do

Thanx.

You basically need to put some absorption in each corner - that can be foam, an old mattress, or a built corner resonator as per http://johnlsayers.com/HR/index1.htm

YOu didn't get back as to how it sounded after the shift.

"YOu didn't get back as to how it sounded after the shift" -

John, according to the pix I would say it's VERY VERY quiet... because there are no SPEAKERS.

He, he that is correct

I bought new speakers, but havent got them yet and I had to sell my old ones to have the cash to buy the new ones...see?

-But one thing I have noticed is that the "echo" in the room have increased some when I "clap".

Man, this is a diffucult thing I have got myself in to:

I was going to order some readypainted & coated 40 mm fiberglass(equivilent to 703) to hang in the ceiling.
But they(The seller) said I should cover ALL of the ceiling if it was going to have a good effect.
They said that the approach of hanging something over the desk, would only gather dust, & that was not good either, and that I should at least cover the whole corner, and then "close it " where I want it to stop.

He also told me it was better to have the fiberglass material on the walls(instead of foam), to build a frame out a bit from the wall, and then cover with fiberglass panels.

Well, well, it´s a subjective world......
