Would investing in a product like this really benefit you in a studio and enhance your audio recordings, is it worth the money to buy such a piece of equipment......

looks like a regular power strip with some overvolt protection. depending on power conditions, it might be wiser to invest in a decent UPS device for your computer and sensitive equipment - a good UPS (un-interuptable power supply) will give you enough time to properly shutdown equipment in the event of a power failure, as well as isolate from "brown outs" or power dips.

no recommendations here although APC is generally a reliable brand. having a replaceable battery is important as you'll need to do that periodically. I generally wouldn't recommend less than 500VA capacity.
