Thanks for the advice, John. Cloulds seem like a good way to go for the ceiling. Two more questions:

1) What about bass traps in the rear corners of the control room? Will the 703 "dead wall" eliminate the need for these?

2) Pls suggest any treatment for my live room and/or Iso booths.

In one of your last posts, you mention that having a vaulted ceiling in the live room is an advantage, presumably because the ceiling isn't parallel with the floor....

Can you suggest how you might treat the walls in this scenario?

Depends how live you want it but for a tight clean room I'd look at something like this.

Not to belabor this, but how do you do clouds on a vaulted ceiling such as this? I should NOT have them parallel to the floor, correct?

with a vaulted ceiling you already have non parallel floor/ceiling so if you make clouds with just 703 and no backing you can hang them as you like

Hi, John:

A couple questions I was hoping you could help me with:

1) When you say "hang" the cloulds of 703, do you mean I can hang them vertically/randomly?

Regarding the studio wall treatment:

2) Are the treatment walls you've drawn your "inside out" walls? Do I frame these after my perimeter walls? I have read everything on this yet am still confused on how they attach (or don't attach) to the perimeter walls...what's the best way of doing this? On the west wall, for example, should I make the absorber in advance, then nail it into the studs afterwards? I'm confused...

3) On the "west" 703 wall, is the 703 backed up by plywood? How does this attach to floor/cieling?
