Here is my proposed control room plan.
Any suggestions?
Does anybody seen anything wrong with it, and how can a fix it?

Thanks John that is a kickass layout. That works so much better.

The only thing is that I have a Space in the rear corner that I was going to use as storage for mics and my drum kit and stuff.

I think in your drawing you have Bass traps in those rear corners.
Could I make those traps swing open on a hinge, so i can still access that closet? And if I do, will the open area cause me problems, with frequencies building up in there?

you could use the whole space as a cupboard and put you bass traps in the ceiling at the rear of the room - what's you ceiling height??

why not store your drums and mikes in the studio? then you can use the whole cupboard as a bass trap.

Or you could use the storage as a bass trap (open) and store your gear in the bass trap area with an open cloth door??

Use your mic closet as storage and a bass trap. Just put a door frame (remember the old wooded screen doors??) with a cloth cover to fit the decorum of your studio to allow sounbd to enter in and get trapped.
